All students begin with best-selling author Lisa Crosby, who wrote The Struggling Student. Lisa uses her years of vast experience to unlock the academic potential of all of her clients.Lisa combines exceptional teaching with neuroscience for results most think impossible.
Lisa’s expertise covers a wide range of content areas including Math, to include Calculus, Reading, Writing, Science, and History. Lisa also specializes in Testing challenges, Dyslexic Readers, time management and goal setting, and the unique needs of ADD/ADHD students.Lisa offers SAT or ACT prep courses for 9-11th graders for individuals or small groups.Lisa Coaches Parents to establish the Family Culture that might be necessary for student success and is happy to attend IEP or 504 meetings to meet your student’s specific needs. Lisa is an education advocate for student success with many references available upon request.
For struggling students, an assessment is the most efficient way to plan your student’s solution. Details will be shared in the initial consultation. Lisa’s favorites are KTEA-3, WISC, and WISC Interpreted depending on the issues.
