Chemistry Learning Coach

I have experience teaching high school Chemistry and AP Chemistry, as well as college Chemistry. I love working with students helping them to see the wonders of Chemistry, and let me assure you, you could not be in better hands learning and mastering Chemistry. Chemistry is a demanding subject and I recommend students receive ongoing support, as once the course is underway, resolving large gaps in understanding can daunting. Seeking help after the first low exam score is recommended. Remember, all topics are covered in the final, so students need to spend time preparing for the next exam and also understanding the mistakes of the last exam ideally. Then moving forward can happen with ease and confidence.

I would like to share that I possess two master’s degrees, both in Education and Chemistry. I am originally from India. My husband and I moved to the United States in 2007. My husband is a professor at the University of Nevada Reno in the Business Department and we have a daughter who is the apple of our eye. In addition to teaching at Custom Learning Academy with Lisa Crosby back in 2012-2015, I also have taught at the University of Nevada Reno CHEM 121 and 122. Additionally, I enjoyed teaching the same courses at Truckee Meadows Community College. High school Chemistry is a precursor to the college courses I have taught and I enjoy giving my students a thorough understanding of preparing them for any future courses in Chemistry they may take. I have taught AP Chemistry for high school students, so helping students prepare for the AP exam is also something I enjoy.
